AIMS International EMEA 2026: Where Leadership, Community and AI in Search Come Together

There’s something different about the AIMS International EMEA meetings.
They’re not just conferences. They’re where strategy meets community - and where the conversations shaping the future of executive search actually happen.
This year, hosted by AIMS International Lithuania in Vilnius, the event brought together partners and consultants from across the region for four days of insight, collaboration, and shared ambition.
Ezekia was proud to be part of it.

A city that set the tone
Vilnius proved to be more than just a backdrop.
From the historic Old Town to the energy of the Pink Soup Festival, which quite literally painted the city pink, the setting reflected the event's spirit: vibrant, open, and full of character.
Beyond the sessions, the experience mattered. Walking tours, shared meals, and informal conversations created an environment where stronger relationships and better ideas are built.

From the city-wide Pink Soup Festival to exploring the artistic Republic of Užupis, where even sitting above the river becomes part of the experience, Vilnius set the tone for a memorable few days.

From conversation to execution
Across the four days, one thing was clear:
The industry is moving beyond theory.
Sessions focused on leadership, sustainability, and the future of executive search - including discussions around the AIMS Sustainable Leadership Assessment and workshops centred on decision-making, impact, and long-term value.
But what stood out wasn’t just the topics.
It was the openness.
Leaders sharing real challenges. Consultants comparing approaches.Firms aligning on what the future should look like, not just what it could look like.
Ezekia in the room
As part of the programme, Max Woolger (VP Revenue at Ezekia) led sessions focused on one of the most consistent challenges in executive search:
Why business development is still seen as a chore.

The discussion resonated immediately.
Across firms, regions and levels of seniority, the same themes emerged:
Lack of follow-up
Inefficient workflows
Too many competing priorities
Limited visibility across activity
The conclusion wasn’t surprising, but it was important:
BD isn’t failing because of effort. It’s failing because of structure.
Connecting the dots with AI
This is where the conversation naturally turned to technology.
Not AI as a standalone tool, but as part of a connected operating model.

Because when data, workflows, and communication sit in different places, AI can only go so far.
But when everything is connected:
Insights don’t get lost
BD activity becomes visible
Teams operate with shared intelligence
AI enhances, rather than complicates, the workflow
That’s where firms begin to see real impact.
More than a conference
Beyond the sessions, what made the event stand out was the sense of community.
Whether it was the rooftop celebration marking 20 years of AIMS Lithuania, the client-facing Lithuanian Business DNA conference, or the collaboration with Junior Achievement Lithuania, the event balanced commercial focus with long-term thinking.
It wasn’t just about today’s challenges.
It was about building the next generation of leaders and firms.

The takeaway
Events like this reinforce something simple:
The future of executive search won’t be defined by tools alone.
It will be shaped by:
How firms collaborate
How knowledge is shared
And how technology is embedded into everyday workflows
The firms that move fastest won’t be the ones adopting the most tools.
They’ll be the ones building the most connected way of working.
A huge thank you to Šarūnas Dyburis and the AIMS International Lithuania team for hosting such a well-executed event.
We’re already looking forward to what comes next.
